Two quizzed after PSNI swoop

Two men have been arrested as part of a police operation into serious crime.

The men, aged 48 and 26, were detained in west Belfast last night.

Two suspected weapons were also seized when officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's (PSNI) serious crime branch swooped on a property at Glenshane Gardens.

The items have been sent for forensic examination.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the suspects were being questioned at a police station in Belfast.
