Two teenagers have been arrested following a hit-and-run collision in Londonderry.

A pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life threatening leg and head injuries early this morning sustained on the Abercorn Road.

PSNI Detective Sergeant Brian Reid said: "A vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident was later located and the two men arrested."

Police are appealing for information about the car, a white Ford Focus with an English registration beginning with the letters FH.

Two men aged 19 and 18 have been arrested.
