Two teenagers were arrested after two 15-year-old boys and a woman aged 18 were injured in a fight in Portadown on Saturday.

Police said two males aged 18 and 17 were held after an incident in the Meadow Lane area.

Just before 6.30pm police received a report of a number of youths fighting in the area.

The two 15-year-olds received cuts and the 18-year-old woman was punched.

The two teenage males were arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. The 17-year-old was also held on suspicion of common assault.

Both were released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A police officer said: "We would ask parents to take responsibility for what their children get up to.

"I appeal to anyone with any information about this incident, or any other anti-social behaviour in their area to contact their local police on the non-emergency number 101."
