Two women have been arrested after drugs with an estimated street value of £240,000 were seized in Co Antrim.

The suspects aged 46 and 27 were detained during a planned police raid of a property at Doagh Road in Newtownabbey.

Detective Chief Inspector Colin Gillis, from the PSNI's reactive and organised crime branch, said: "This was a significant find and has taken potentially dangerous drugs off the streets."

The women remain in police custody and are being questioned about the possession and supply of class B drugs.
