Tyrone 'drug find' pupils are suspended
Pupils at a Tyrone school have been suspended following allegations drugs have been found on the premises.
Sixth form pupils at Castlederg High School have been interviewed by the police and an investigation is under way.
It is not known how many pupils are involved with the find.
On Monday police received a report that illegal substances had been discovered.
Castlederg High School released a statement from the principal Elaine McKelvey, it said: “There is an ongoing police investigation and the school cannot comment at this stage.”
The PSNI said: “The youths and their parents have been spoken to by police and a programme of drugs advice and awareness has been instigated.”
