A 24-year-old man has died following a serious road crash in Co Tyrone.

The PSNI has named the man as Keith Robinson from the Fivemiletown area.

Just one car was involved in the crash which took place on the Aghintain Road in Fivemiletown in the early hours of Sunday morning.

He had been riding a quad bike that was involved in the collision which was reported to police shortly after 5am this morning.

Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Aghintain Road early this morning and who witnessed the collision to contact local police in Dungannon or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.

Earlier a section of the Aghintain Road was closed to traffic. It has now reopened.

No further information has been released at this stage.
