Van driver killed in Co Armagh crash

A man in his 40s has died in a road crash in Co Armagh.

The single-vehicle accident happened in Silverbridge during the early hours of the morning.

Police said the victim was driving a van that was involved in a collision on the New Road at its junction with Legmoylan Road.

Police Service of Northern Ireland Inspector Lorraine Dobson has appealed for anyone who was travelling in the area and who witnessed the crash to contact officers in Newtownhamilton, or the collision investigation unit in Sprucefield on 101.

The road remains closed and diversions have been put in place.
