Video: Watch World Cup '82 hero Gerry Armstrong sing Whitney Houston's 'I wanna dance with somebody'
Northern Ireland football legend Gerry Armstrong has shown he has the moves both on and off the pitch in a video while enjoying a night out for his wife's 40th birthday.
The ex-footballer - who scored one of the most, if not the most, famous goals for Northern Ireland - shared a video on social media of he and wife Deborah enjoying a night out.
The pair live in Spain a lot of the time, but celebrated at home in Belfast's Cafe Vaudeville.
To the strains of Whitney Houston's 'I Wanna dance With Somebody', Gerry enjoys a slow dance with his wife and partakes in a little singalong.
Although perhaps the ex-Real Mallorca and Tottenham striker would be better using his vocal talents for his day job as a commentator for Spanish football on Sky Sports.
Gerry, originally from the Beechmount area of west Belfast, scored an unforgettable goal against Spain in the 1982 World Cup Finals that put Billy Bingham's side into the knock-out stages and Armstrong himself on the road to fame.
The 61-year-old and wife Deborah celebrated 10 years of marriage this year and have two daughters.
