Vintage shop The Rusty Zip closing its doors

Vintage clothing shop The Rusty Zip has announced it will be closing its doors after 17 years of serving customers in Belfast.

The shop with two floors full of an array of accessories and clothing from a bygone age was a popular spot for shoppers.

It is currently reducing stock at half price in a clearance sale and is open Monday to Saturday 10-6 and late night on Thursday until 8pm.

It will close its doors on Thursday, April 30, 2015.

In a statement posted on Twitter the Rusty Zip said: "We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support over the last 17 years, it would not have been the success it was without you.

"We are currently reducing stock HALF PRICE in our clearance sale and will be open Monday- Saturday 10-6 (late night on Thursday until 8.) Hope to see you there for bargains and fond farewells x"

Customers have been posting their messages on the Facebook site. One said: "A brilliant vintage shop. Will be really sad to see it close! Thank you Rusty Zip."
