Warning over drugs stolen from chemist
Police have issued a warning after burglars took prescription drugs from a chemist's in Newtownards.
The business at Stratheden Heights was raided between 5am and 6am on Sunday and tramadol, temazepam, diazepam and lyrica were taken.
A police spokesman said: "I would urge the public to be vigilant and to ensure that they do not put their health at risk by purchasing medication from an illicit source."
The PSNI has asked anyone with information about the burglary to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 263 of 31/10/16 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
