Watch: Down man Paul McCavery's stunning snooker trick shot goes horribly right
An amateur snooker player has shown off his potting prowess after a trick shot went wrong before ultimately finishing up with a better shot than he could have envisaged.
Paul McCavery, from Annalong, Co Down, lined up seven reds for a traditional trick shot which sees the cue ball swerve around the pack before potting a colour into a nearby pocket.
After striking the cue ball, as intended for a second time, it launches into the air, hits a table light sending the ball toward the colour, knocking it into the corner pocket - as had originally been intended.
