Watch: Man arrested after shocking video of rush hour road rage in Northern Ireland

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving following an altercation at Northway in Portadown.

Video footage of the incident between two drivers in Northern Ireland last week has gone viral - with almost 100,000 views on social media.

He was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving and public order offences.

The male remains in custody at present.

The incident took place at a junction of the A3 Northway in Portadown last Friday afternoon.

A PSNI spokesman on Tuesday said the male driver of a car was "allegedly struck in the face by the driver of an articulated lorry close to the junction shortly before 4pm".

"A 59-year-old man was subsequently treated in hospital for a cut lip."
