A young couple from Belfast are offering a reward for the safe return of treasured family photos.

Paul and Diane Quade have been left devastated following the theft of a laptop computer from their home last week during a burglary while they were on holiday.

The portable computer contained the only copies of hundreds of photographs and videos of their two-year-old son Oscar and four-month-old daughter Maisie.

Paul said: "We came back from a short holiday on Friday afternoon to find the patio doors smashed. Our laptop and my wife's car were gone.

"We don't care so much about the car, or even about getting the computer back - all we want is our family pictures back, and we're even willing to offer a reward for their safe return."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police in east Belfast on 0845 600 8000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
