Weapons accused remanded into custody at Belfast court
A man has been remanded into custody accused of having a lock knife, knuckle duster and ammunition in Belfast.
Desmond Lundy was arrested after a car was searched at Mayo Street in the west of the city on Thursday.
The 39-year-old, of Blenheim Drive in Newtownards, is charged with possessing a bladed article and an offensive weapon in public. He faces further counts of having 10 shotgun cartridges in suspicious circumstances and driving while disqualified.
Lundy was connected to the alleged offences during an appearance at Belfast Magistrates' Court yesterday. He was remanded in custody.
