Woman (51) targeted in attempted car hijacking in Belfast
A woman has been targeted in an attempted car hijacking in Belfast.
It happened at around 7pm at Lanark Way Service Station.
PSNI detective sergeant Andrew Madden said: “We believe four males, aged between 16 and 20, were involved in the incident at Lanark Way Service Station at around 7.10pm.
"Two of the males approached a 51-year-old woman as she was getting into her car on the forecourt and tried unsuccessfully to pull her from the vehicle.
"All four suspects then made off on foot in the direction of Springfield Road."
Police have appealed for information.
