A 61-year-old woman has been left badly shaken after an assault in south Belfast.

She was walking in the Osborne Park area at about 8am on December 26 when she was attacked by an unknown man.

When the woman began to scream, he fled towards the Lisburn Road.

She did not suffer any physical injuries.

The attacker was described as being tall, of a heavy build and wearing a grey hooded fleece and dark jogging bottoms.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them at Lisburn Road on the non-emergency 101 number.
