Woman arrested over crash which killed Northern Ireland teen in 2012
A woman has been arrested by police in the Republic of Ireland over a car crash which killed Armagh teenager Ciaran McKenna five years ago.
The 17-year-old was killed in a crash in Castleblaney, Co Monaghan in July 2012.
On Wednesday, gardai arrested a woman aged in her 20s.
She has been charged to appear at Carrickmacross District Court.
Football star McKenna was from Creevekerran, Crossmaglen.
He was described as a well-known and popular young man, with strong connections to the GAA, playing for Crossmaglen Rangers, at the time of his death.
