A woman in her 50s has died from injuries suffered when she was knocked down in Co Antrim.

The accident involving a Mitsubishi car happened at Rogers Quay, Carrickfergus on Tuesday.

Police Inspector Nick Sturdy has appealed for anyone with information to contact the PSNI's collision investigation unit on the non-emergency 101 number.
