Woman hurt after being threatened and held by three masked men during robbery

A woman has been injured after she was threatened and held by three masked men during an armed robbery of a filling station in Co Tyrone.

It happened on Thursday June 18 at a filling station on the Ballygawley Road at Calbragh.

It was reported that three masked men, one armed with a firearm, approached a female staff member at around 10.30pm.

The staff member was threatened and detained by the men at the premises while they stole a sum of money. They then made off from the scene.

The woman suffered minor injuries.

Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and Detective Inspector Will Tate would ask for anyone who noticed a dark coloured car or any suspicious activity in the area between 10pm and 11pm, or anyone with any information to contact detectives at Cookstown on 101.
