Woman in critical condition in hospital with burn injuries after 'incident' at Co Antrim house
A woman is in a critical condition in hospital with burn injuries following an 'incident' at a house in Co Antrim.
Police have said they are investigating what they have described as an 'incident' involving a 49-year-old woman and 48-year-old man at a house in the Glenavy Road, Lisburn.
Both were admitted to hospital for treatment to burn injuries on Tuesday morning.
The woman is said to be in a critical condition, while the man's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police have said they are "working to establish exactly what happened" and have appealed for anyone with information, or who was in the area at around 7.30am to contact them.
