An 18-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after being pushed through the window of a kebab shop.

The incident happened on the Andersonstown Road in west Belfast about 2am.

The extent of her injuries are not known.

A spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said an investigation had been launched and officers at Woodbourne station were appealing for information.

A spokeswoman for Belfast Health and Social Care Trust said the woman had been discharged.
