Woman 'stable' after stab attack

A 26-year-old woman is in a stable condition in hospital after being stabbed in north Belfast.

She suffered multiple injuries after being attacked at her home in the Glenrosa Link area at about 7am this morning.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and is in police custody being quizzed about the incident.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokesman said the suspect is "assisting police with their inquiries".

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at Antrim Road police station.
