Harry Potter star Radcliffe spurns 'Tory whipping boy Clegg'
Monday, 6 February 2012
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe thinks the magic has worn off for another boy wizard - Nick Clegg.
The screen actor, who had championed the Deputy Prime Minister prior to the General Election, now believes the Liberal Democrat leader has become the Tories' "whipping boy".
And in an interview with Attitude magazine, Radcliffe switched his praise to Labour leader Ed Miliband.
The star - soon to be seen in chiller The Woman In Black - said: "Nick Clegg has become a Tory whipping boy.
"He has been totally used by the Tories. Anything they don't want badly reflected on them, they reflect on to him."
Radcliffe backed Mr Miliband, saying: "He speaks for what I believe in."
