Mark Durkan changes his tune over sky high costs

Mark Durkan took a break from banging on about the DUP and Sinn Fein to strike up a tune with a different beat.

The SDLP leader was instead sounding off on another issue playing on his mind — flying musical instruments.

The Foyle MP is not pleased that musicians are charged so much to carry their guitars, trumpets and fiddles onboard flights to far away gigs.

He has written to UK Aviation Minister urging that musicians should travel without incurring costly unfair penalties — even if Mark only plays the air guitar himself.
