Unionists have warned that they will do whatever it takes to stop Martin McGuinness becoming Northern Ireland’s First Minister.
The Belfast Telegraph contacted 18 Assembly members from the main unionist parties asking if they would be prepared to serve under a future Sinn Fein First Minister.
Ten said no, while another eight either declined to comment or refused to provide a definitive answer. Not one said they would be willing to work with a Sinn Fein First Minister.
