Stormont Diary: McGuinness delighted by Robinson's Muppet appearance
While not quite his new chuckle brother, Martin McGuinness admitted he was never as happy to see the First Minister at his side last week.
The image of him and Peter Robinson with the Muppet stars of the Sesame Tree is already a clear favourite for political snap of the year, but that wasn't the only reason the deputy First Minister was smiling.
The ministers were there for the launch of the second series of the hit Belfast-produced kids' show.
But at the announcement of the first programme three years ago Mr McGuinness was flying solo.
"I came here on my own last time and ended up looking like a right eejit," he told guests of his first encounter with the Muppets.
"So I made sure to bring Peter with me this time so at least there'd be two of us looking like eejits."
