240 jobs created at Neopost in Dublin and GE Healthcare in Co Cork

Hundreds of jobs are being created in separate investments.

Neopost, a French company specialising in mail and digital communications, is to take on 100 staff as it sets up an operations centre in Citywest, Dublin.

The offices will help manage 300,000 customers in 13 European countries, including Ireland.

And GE Healthcare has announced the creation of 140 jobs as it invests 40 million euro in its manufacturing plant in Carrigtwohil, Co Cork.

The medical and biopharma company, which already has 500 employees at the facility, expects the investment to double production of some of its products at the site.
