A man has died after a two-car crash in Co Tipperary, gardai said.

The 37-year-old victim was the passenger in a car that collided with another at Tullaskeagh, Roscrea.

He was taken to University Hospital Limerick after the incident at around 7.30pm on Saturday, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car and three men in the other car suffered injuries not thought to be serious.

Gardai have appealed for witnesses.
