Fifity jobs have been created at a fast-growing technology business.

The IIS Group said it needed the additional staff to meet demand after 30 others were taken on earlier this year.

The skilled appointments will be at the Sap Gold Partner's headquarters in Ireland and in other offices across the UK, the Netherlands and Poland.

Morgan Browne, IIS group chief executive, said the company is experiencing a sustained period of growth and demand for its products.

"This has been driven by the economic upturn both in Ireland and on the continent. We've seen that companies are now confident in investing in IIS solutions based on SAP (systems application products) technology and the long-term benefits this can deliver to a growing, ambitious enterprise," he said.
