Body found in derelict Dublin house

A badly decomposed body has been found in a derelict house, gardai said.

The remains were discovered in the building at Royal Canal Bank West in the Phibsborough area of Dublin.

Gardai said the alert was raised at about midday on Wednesday.

The building has been sealed off for a technical examination and a post mortem is to be carried out to establish how the person died.
