British-Irish Council set to meet
Taoiseach Enda Kenny will travel to London today for a meeting of the British-Irish Council.
The economy and energy will be on the agenda at the summit in Lancaster House.
This will be the first meeting of the council since the new Government was formed, and since the recent elections in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
First and Deputy First Ministers of Northern Ireland Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness, Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones and representatives from the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands will also attend.
The Taoiseach will also hold separate bilateral talks with Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond.
He will be accompanied by energy minister Pat Rabbitte.
