Charles and Camilla meet Irish President
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have met the President at the start of their third visit to the Republic of Ireland in as many years.
Charles and Camilla signed the visitors' book at Michael D Higgins' Dublin residence, Aras an Uachtarain, and the Duchess later joined the President's wife Sabina for a tour of the gardens.
The Prince held a separate meeting with the President.
Young people who have excelled in the fields of sport, art, music, science, agriculture and advocacy were then invited to meet the Prince and Duchess.
The President and his wife hosted a private dinner for the royal couple on Wednesday evening.
The visitors will travel to Kilkenny on Thursday morning, including a stop at Kilkenny Castle.
Events are also planned at the Curragh Camp and the national stud horse breeding facility.
