Cocaine and cannabis haul seized in Dublin

Cocaine and cannabis worth an estimated 750,000 euro has been seized in Dublin.

The drugs were discovered during the planned search of a property and vehicles in the Irishtown area of south Dublin on Saturday.

One man, aged in his late 40s, was arrested at the scene and was detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.

He was released on Saturday night without charge, with gardai to prepare a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardai said the operation used advanced analytical and intelligence methods.
