A man in his mid 30s has been killed in a road crash in Co Cork.

The two vehicle accident happened on the N20 in the townland of Ballygrogan, Rathduff, Cork during the early hours of this morning.

The man's body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will take place.

A woman in her early 40s, who was driving the second vehicle, and two male passengers were all taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The road is currently closed while specialist Garda technical officers carry out a forensic examination of the scene.
