Gardai have granted extra time to question eight men arrested on suspicion of dissident republican activity.
The men, aged from their mid-20s to 50s, were detained after officers from the Special Detective Unit and national garda units swooped on commercial premises in Clondalkin on Friday afternoon.
A loaded firearm was seized during a follow up raid and has been sent away for forensic examination by police ballistic experts.
A garda spokesman said a further 10 searches were carried out as part of the ongoing investigation.
The suspects were being held at various garda stations in Dublin under the Offences Against the State Act of 1939.
