Hunt on for Irish meteorite

Irish stargazers are on the hunt for a meteorite worth more than €13,000 an ounce.

Skywatchers reported seeing a fireball moving across the sky around midnight on Wednesday night.

Chairman of Astronomy Ireland, David Moore said only four meteorites have ben found on Irish soil in the last 200 years, making them highly collectible for enthusiasts.
