Irish postman proves skills once again as he locates recipient of postcard addressed to 'Albert, Cardonagh, Donegal'
Postmen in Ireland are well-known for their skills at tracking down the most obscure of parcel recipients - and they have proved once again why they are the best.
The most recent example comes from a postcard sent all the way from Missouri with the not very helpful address of: "Albert, Cardonagh, Donegal".
Clearly, not too much to go on and to many it would be like finding a needle in a haystack.
But it was no problem to a local postman who knew instinctively to put it in the letter box of Albert Doherty, a local Sinn Fein councillor.
In a similar incident back in July, a letter simply addressed to "Your man Henderson that boy with the glasses" sent from Belfast to the town of Buncrana in Co Donegal also was received by its intended recipient.
