Karen Buckley's body now back in Ireland
The family of murdered student Karen Buckley have brought her remains home to Cork from Scotland, 14 days after her death.
Her devastated parents, John (62) and Marion (61), and three brothers accompanied the coffin on the flight from Glasgow.
The return of the 24-year-old's remains was delayed by procedural matters in Glasgow, including the request for a second post mortem examination. It was concluded last Friday.
Karen's funeral tomorrow is expected to be one of the biggest ever witnessed in north Cork.
Alexander Pacteau (21) is charged with Karen's murder on April 12. Her remains were found at an isolated farm outside Glasgow after days of searches.
