Man held after body found at house

Detectives have made an arrest after the body of a man was found in a house in north Dublin.

The remains of the man, believed to be in his 30s, were found at a house at Beech Park Avenue, Castleknock, in the early hours.

Another man, aged 34 years, was arrested at the scene.

He has been taken to Blanchardstown Garda station where he is being held under section four of the Criminal Justice Act.

He can be detained for up to 24 hours.

The scene has been sealed off for a full technical examination by forensic experts and the State Pathologist has been asked to attend.
