Man held after shotgun incident

A 31-year-old man has been arrested over a gun attack in which a career criminal was injured.

The man was detained in Dublin and taken in for questioning in Ballymun over the shooting during rush hour on Monday morning.

The 52-year-old victim was left in a serious condition after suffering a blast in the stomach from a shotgun in Glasnevin.
