Gardai in Dublin are appealing for witnesses

A man has been found shot in a street.

Gardai said the victim, who is in his 30s, did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

The shooting took place in Monasterboice Road in the Crumlin area of south Dublin at about 4am.

Gardai said the man is being treated at St James's Hospital.

Forensic examinations are to take place at the crime scene and officers from Sundrive Road appealed for witnesses.
