Man shot in leg in pub gun attack

A 66-year-old man has been shot in a leg in a gun attack at a pub.

Gardai said the injured man was in a bar in Cork Street, near Dolphin's Barn in Dublin, at about 11pm last night when the shooting took place.

The gunman was wearing a balaclava.

The injured man was treated in St James's Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Gardai in Kevin Street are investigating.

The gun attack took place at the Barn House pub.

Gardai are investigating whether it was related to a row in the bar earlier in the evening and a window on the premises being smashed.
