Man's death at home investigated

Detectives are treating as suspicious the death of a man at his home in Dublin.

The 63-year-old's body was discovered at the property at Cambridge Court in Ringsend at around 4am on Monday.

A Garda spokesman said: "He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the mortuary at Marino, Dublin 3.

"The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and remains preserved."

The State Pathologist Marie Cassidy has been asked to carry out a post-mortem examination.
