Motorcyclist dies in Co Kerry crash

A motorcyclist has died in road crash in Co Kerry.

The man, in his 20s, was fatally injured when his bike was in a crash with a car on the Abbeydorney to Tralee Road around 6.20pm on Sunday.

The female driver of the car, who was its only occupant, was uninjured.

Earlier a man in his 20s died in a road crash in Co Louth.

The single vehicle crash happened overnight on the Bog Road, Townspark, Ardee.

The incident was reported to gardai at 7am on Sunday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to either crash to come forward.
