Murdered student Karen Buckley's family wait for body
The heartbroken family of slain student Karen Buckley (24) have been reunited on their dairy farm as they face an agonising 72-hour wait to see if her body will be released in Scotland.
John (62) and Marion Buckley (61) flew back to Cork without their daughter's remains after being informed it will be tomorrow at least before a decision on the release can be made by Glasgow officials.
Karen's body was found on an isolated Glasgow farm on April 15.
Courier operator Alexander Pacteau (21) has been charged with Karen's murder.
Hundreds yesterday signed a special Cork Co Council book of condolences for the family while Karen's parents were comforted by Parish Priest Fr Joe O'Keeffe.
