O'Hara to join the new board of AIB

The former head of Intel Ireland Jim O'Hara is to join the new board of Allied Irish Banks.
Executive chairman Dan O'Connor is to step down with immediate effect after three years on the board and after taking the senior role at the Government's request.
AIB thanked Mr O'Connor for his leadership and commitment and for agreeing to do the job at such a difficult time in the company's history.
Catherine Woods, former head of European banks equity research team at JP Morgan Securities, was also appointed non-executive director.
