Prepay electricity firm to create 50 jobs

Fifty jobs are to be created by a prepay electricity company, it has announced.

PrePayPower, which operates private electricity meters in homes, said it is recruiting immediately for the mainly sales roles countrywide.

Cathal Fay, chief executive of the firm, said he was looking for "bright and enthusiastic" applicants.

"Twenty of these new positions will be in Leinster, 15 in Munster, ten in Connacht and five in Ulster," he added.

"We're a young, dynamic Irish company and we're looking for bright and enthusiastic people to come and work with us.

"Full training will be provided including professional sales qualifications."

PrePayPower already employs 100 people at its headquarters in Sandyford in Dublin.

The company was set up in 2009.
