Probe after body found in house

A 37-year-old woman has been found dead in a house.

Gardai said the woman's body was discovered in the home in Graiguecullen, Carlow Town last night at about 9.45pm.

Local officers have called in the State Pathologist's Office to carry out preliminary examinations at the scene and determine the course of the investigation.

Gardai said the house has been sealed off and a forensic and technical examination was being carried out.
