Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Dublin on Saturday as the Irish capital witnessed demonstrations against the current austerity programme.
Participants marched on the Department of Finance to denounce the terms of the European Union/International Monetary Fund multi-billion Euro bailout deal with the Irish government.
The march from Parnell Square to the state building was staged to mark the global day of protest against cutbacks and alleged financial mismanagement during the economic crisis.
Demonstrators carrying placards beat drums and blew whistles during the afternoon event in the city centre.
Elsewhere in the city, a long-term protest outside the Central Bank entered its second week.
The 'Occupy Dame Street' demonstration has seen anti-capitalist protestors camp out outside the financial institution.
