Ronan Keating has described married life as "incredible" and said he and his wife are "living the dream".

The former Boyzone singer tied the knot with Australian TV executive Storm Uechtritz in Scotland in August in front of guests including his old bandmates Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy.

Keating who has a new album out on February 12 next year, told the Press Association: "We're living the dream, we had an amazing wedding and an amazing honeymoon, and we're back, we've hit the ground running, working hard, both of us together. But it's great, it's really nice, it keeps us rolling and it's nice to be busy in the run-up to Christmas like this."

He described married life as "incredible", and said they will spend their first Christmas as Mr and Mrs Keating in Dublin with his three children.

The couple, who have been together for more than three years after meeting on the set of the Australian X Factor, married in a ceremony at Archerfield House in East Lothian, Scotland.

Keating split from first wife Yvonne, the mother of his children, in 2011.

The 38-year-old star surprised guests on Tuesday night with a performance at Global media and entertainment's annual charity event, Make Some Noise, where he revealed details of his album.

"It's very exciting, I cannot wait. I've been working on it for a year, the longest I've ever run on a project.

"It's very honest, very autobiographical and very positive, so it feels good," he said.

The singer has also turned his hand to acting, landing a part in Second World War drama, Another Mother's Son. He joins a star-studded cast that includes Four Wedding And A Funeral's John Hannah, Sherlock star Amanda Abbington and Judge John Deed's Jenny Seagrove.

Keating said of filming: "It's going great, I'm loving it, it's an incredible cast and an incredible script."

He added: "I've done a lot of them (auditions) and I never get my hopes up because I don't get anything, so it's like eventually you do the odd one and you get it's and it's amazing."
